Just a few months ago.....back in the Summer to be exact, I had the joy of meeting a fellow miniature knitter who was visiting the U.K.  We had a wonderful lunch in Derbyshire, after which we chatted for at least 2  to 3 hours while comparing each others miniature items...............Jeannette had brought such an array of tiny treasures all the way from Tasmania, and I was left mesmerised by them...............I had however seen her web site and asked her about one pattern for sale there, it was this one............."Zoe".......... a co-production between Marianne Asselman and Jeannette Fishwick, I just loved the way the tiny skirts overflowed with frills, it reminded me of when I was younger, the frilly net underskirts girls used to wear back in the late 50`s early 60`s......this was also a memory shared by Marianne, and one that inspired her to put this in the design..........here I show it knitted with Venne Colcotton and 8mm handmade lace with 2mm pure silk ribbon trim,
The dress is knitted in one piece so no seams, and the hem, which is not too clear in my photos, has a delicate picot edge.
There is an underskirt and a pair of panties as well as the bootees and hat.....truly a special little outfit for the tiny toddler in your dollhouse.
